This app is a wast of time

I joined this app a year ago with the hope of finding a girlfriend. A year later Im still single and not likely going to find a girlfriend with the same interests as I do on this app. All the matches Im getting are not what Im looking for. Sometimes you dont even get a potential match for months. When you like a potential match they dont even like you back then you do a rematch and they dont even respond at all.
