CMB keeps providing “bagels" (the match of the day) AND "give and take” (seeing additional matches that you’d have to give points to connect), from my ethnicity. Umm, I can write an algorithm like that, there’s no smart tech involved…And you do this even after I put in preferences for outside of my ethnicity.

This app was everything I wanted in a dating app. The first bagel that I connected with was such a perfect match and thats the only reason I stopped using the app!

The ideal app for someone who wants to dip their toe into meeting other singles without having to sacrifice a ton of time.

Downloaded the app, checked it out, filled out my profile of all the things that I wanted to fill out, but left education blank because, who cares, it’s a dating app, they don’t need to know where I went to college, that was so long ago anyways! Then a few hours later I get a message that my profile was not approved because I didn’t fill out my educational info. What is this dating, or a job interview?? Is your app only open to people who went to college? How classist...

I met my girlfriend on this app and now I must delete it. I dont know how to delete my account so I just deactivated. Thank you.

Its almost certainly due to my preferences, but Ive been using this app for a couple of months and have yet to match. It does make you think more carefully about the people you are presented, though.

You get zingle "bagel" each day to like or not but I cant believe that for 30+ days not a single person liked me back. I have decently attractive pics. Men cant do more than like and spend "coffee beans" to buy more bagels per day so if anything happens its from the women and they just arent active. Especially when you only get one per day!

As a long time user of CMB (>1yr), the app is getting worse and worse. The idea is great, however, the matching engine is so terrible now. They screwed up the "Give and take" few months ago, fixed it after a month, and now rolled out "Discover" to replace a perfectly working function, and give you completely random matches. Its essentially like Tinder. Why screw up something when it has been working fine?? All my friends feel the same way with this change. The only good thing is, the daily bagel is still working.

There was some technical issue. I emailed customer service with no response.

I have no idea what algorithm they use to find daily "Bagels," but sends me women whose profiles have nothing to do with my preset preferences or open-ended answers, and women who have literally no profile information at all.

If you dont want to be bombarded by contact from strangers asking for a hook-up, this app will be great for you. I have enjoyed using it so far.

My matches were higher quality than on other sites. I was looking for a serious relationship.

I tried online dating for the first time a little over a year ago and I hated it every step of the way. Nothing worked and I never met anyone worth while. But then about 6 months ago I saw an advertisement for Coffee Meets Bagel and downloaded it on a whim, not expecting much. After a couple of weeks on the app I met an amazing guy, we went on a date, and now we are totally in love with each other! I love that this app shows you people that you have mutual friends with on Facebook and I love that the chat rooms are set up in such a way that encourages you to actually meet people in person. I would recommend CMB to anyone!
